NewAthena Research Highlights #5

New research highlights the continued progress of NewAthena across key areas of the mission, from instrumentation and optics to advanced data analysis techniques.

 These four recent publications present the latest developments in the Wide-Field Imager (WFI), the production and preparation for full-scale manufacturing of Silicon Pore Optics (SPO) mirror modules, innovative simulation-based inference methods for efficient and accurate X-ray spectral analysis, and advances in Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) readout technology for TES detectors. Together, they showcase the technological and scientific efforts underway to strengthen NewAthena’s capabilities and prepare the mission for its next major milestones.
