Over the past month, the Athena Community Office has led a special outreach campaign for #BlackHoleWeek, sharing a series of short videos from members of the NewAthena community. In their native languages, contributors explored different aspects of black hole science—from their environments and structure to the behaviour of time and matter around them.

Each video was paired with a music recommendation, bringing together science, culture, and personal expression in a shared Spotify playlist.

We are deeply grateful to all contributors who shared their time, expertise, and voices to make this initiative possible. Their diversity reflects the richness of the community behind modern astrophysics.
