Caption: Effective area comparison between the Athena/X-IFU and XRISM/Resolve instruments. The X-IFU provides an increase of effective area by a factor of 45 and 6 at 1 and 7 keV respectively.

Additional comments: The X-IFU configuration assumed here is the one that is subject to the IPRR review to be held in Q1/2019. The XRISM/Resolve effective area is assumed to be the same as the one of Hitomi/SXS.
