Caption: A cold tip of JAXA 2K Joule-Thomson cooler at the top of the heat exchanger tubing. The gold-plated surface will reach below 2K under a 10mW head input by an inner orifice where the Joule-Thomson effect occurs with pressurized 3He gas. Copper and Aluminum plates work as thermal shields between different temperature stages.
