On May 11th, a webinar on the Simulation of X-ray Telescopes (SIXTE) was led by Prof. Jörn Wilms and addressed to the Athena Topical Panel chairs. The webinar included an introduction to SIXTE and hints on how and when to use SIXTE to perform Athena simulations of point and extended sources.

The webinar was organised by the SIXTE team and the Athena Community Office using Zoom and it was attended by 40 members of the Athena community. The recorded video of the webinar is now offered to the whole community as a complementary tool to learn about how to use SIXTE here. Moreover, the SIXTE team has made public the presentation and the scripts of the seminar on its web page.
