The X-ray Integral Field Unit (X-IFU) team has released a new video about the instrument today. The video dives into the heart of the instrument, explaining how the detection chain will work to achieve the unprecedented performance of the calorimeter.

Thanks to the expertise of the X-IFU consortium members, the scientists will precisely measure the properties of each detected photon solving the mysteries of the hot and energetic universe.
