SIXTE Workshop

The first SIXTE workshop to be held at the United States will take place from 15-17 May 2018 at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.

SIXTE is a software package developed to produce simulations of X-ray observations for a large number of different missions. The workshop will be lead by the SIXTE team, Joern Wilms, and Thomas Dauser. It will focus on how to install and use the SIXTE software in simulating science observations of future X-ray missions. It will also feature short science presentations covering the status and capabilities of future X-ray missions (including Athena, Arcus, Lynx, and XARM), as well as opportunities for multi-wavelength synergies.

Additional logistical information about the workshop and the registration will be distributed in a subsequent announcement.
